Professor Ali Nobakht Haghighi, MD, Nephrology

Education: Fellowship in Nephrology/ Iranian Council for Graduate Medical Education/ Iran; Residency of Internal Medicine at Firoozgar General Hospital/ Iran University of Medical Sciences; M.D./ Isfahan University of Medical Sciences.

Professor Nobakht is an Iranian professor of Internal Medicine specialized in Nephrology. He is a permanent member of the Iranian Academy of Medical Sciences. Professor Nobakht was a former Treatment Deputy, Finance and Administration, and Student Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Ministry of Health and Medical Education. He was also the Chairman of the High Disciplinary Board and Vice President of the Medical Council of Iran. He served as the Secretary of the Iranian Academy of Medical Sciences and the division chief of Renal Diseases of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences. Professor Nobakht is the director of Hemodialysis Unit of MEHR Hospital in Tehran. He is also the secretary of the Iranian Society of Organ Transplantation and the Iranian Medical Association.
